Above is an example of asphalt that is sealed versus asphalt that has not yet been sealed.
Probably the most tried and true method when it comes to asphalt maintenance. The process is simple and effective and increases visual appeal. The process does not "repair" any damaged asphalt rather it creates a new surface that wears down rather than the existing asphalt. It does need to be repeated periodically, depending on the amount of traffic the asphalt receives. Sealcoat is distributed by a spray nozzle over the majority of the asphalt, we will "cut in" the tight areas and edges. To "cut in" simply means hand spread with brushes. This limits over spray and allows the surrounding areas to remain clean from product.
